I would have thought Van Buren and Davis Co would have gotten more than that, when I looked at the radar on KTVO, looked like a lot of rain in the area. FYI our granddaughters softball game was canceled last night, and we are hoping the make up game for tonight also will be. Why are they have makeup games for 9 year olds?
Another thing I shake my head when you have 9U baseball and softball tourneys and all the kids get Super Bowl type rings.

I like the rain but not these temps, my poor little tomatoes out there in 41 and a cold ass rain
Current conditions at MSP airport

44 degrees
Rain Fog/Mist
Winds East at 22 mph, gusts to 35 MPH

No end in sight for the rain. Looks like it will last all day. It's just a miserable day

Lots of standing water in the pothole country east of Ames. Gonna probably need a bunch of replanting.

I doubt much, provided no more rain. Given how dry the soils were overall the water should drain fairly quickly in most areas. Generally both soybeans and corn are good for at least 48 hrs of standing water, likely more given the cool conditions forecast for the next few days.
