Due to the forecast for blizzard conditions, Iowa State University will partially close and classes (day and evening) will meet virtually on Wednesday, March 5. Students should check email and Canvas for additional information from their instructors. Classes will resume in-person instruction on Thursday, March 6.
Maybe delayed until the afternoon. On the 13 news at noon today Jeriann was talking about how it will likely be closed due to high wind.
Twin Cities too. Was 2-3 inches predicted yesterday. Now blizzard warning with 7-9 inches and 40 mph winds. Fun
Had a friend of ours who is a lab teacher tell us. Can’t have a lab when they cancel classes. Geesh!
Well, your friend might have canceled his specific class. ISU classes aren’t cancelled though, just moved to virtual.
In south central Minnesota, going west, they suggest staying home. Be careful leaving Ames after the game. I hope I get to watch the whole game, lights are thinking about going out.
I hope anyone at the game that has to travel west has a plan B......
Westbound I-90 just closed. Putting people up at armory in Albert Lea. No travel west from Albert Lea. When it snows and blows, I-90 west is often impassable. 6-11" forecast here, got 2-3" already in 2 hours, looking like we may hit the high end.
