Next week is going to be sloppy.
But we are done with the cold and snow, right?
Melting will be annoying, but I'm sick of this snow.

Yeah like the higher temps but the mess that will come with it will be a bit annoying.Next week is going to be sloppy.
Better to get rid of some of this s**t now before spring.Had to cancel plans going to Waterloo today. Of course this will all melt soon and we will have a brown Christmas.
Its just going to snow a bunch in January and February anyways.Better to get rid of some of this s**t now before spring.
I certainly hope so!It’s just going to snow a bunch in January and February anyways.
Supposes to drive Waukee to Waterloo sometime today. Could stay til tomorrow if roads are iffy. 511 not looking great.Had to cancel plans going to Waterloo today. Of course this will all melt soon and we will have a brown Christmas.
In the Winter "previews" that's when they said we were suppose to get the worst of it. If it turns out to be worse than what we already have had its going to be a LONG Winter. Its just going to snow a bunch in January and February anyways.
I didn't even know we were supposed to get snow today.
I check the forecast every few days, and I typically follow this thread (I can't find this storm mentioned anywhere). I don't remember seeing anything in the forecast beyond what we got Thursday. Maybe I need to pay attention better.I'd like to have this level of detachment! I'm basically constantly looking up the weather in the best of circumstances, but the past few weeks I've gone overboard. (My sister had a baby last weekend during the 8 inches of snow in Ames, then I had to--for complicated reasons--take the baby home from Blanks on Friday trying to beat the snow and ice.)
So you’re a grower and not a show or I take it4 more inches and growing, so far![]()
About 5 years ago we did combine soybeans when it was snowing. I still can’t believe we did that.
