There's going to be a narrow band that brings some big totals somewhere very near US 20 tonight into tomorrow. Think 6"+ could be in play in a larger band that's more 1-3, maybe 4"

Man I hate this time of year when the yard is a sloppy muddy mess and the grass hasn't started growing back. I have a 1 year old golden retriever that loves to dig. I may not have a yard in another week, just a giant mud pit.
I have given actual thought to whether it’s easier to clean up if they go to the bathroom in the house as opposed to cleaning up muddy paw prints.

For me the answer would come down to what type of flooring. If carpet, give me the muddy paw prints all day. I hate dog piss with a passion and it the worst when you have to try and absorb/ suck it out of carpet.

Somewhat off-topic, but last night my Alexa device helpfully notified me there was snow in the forecast for Friday, and I could expect “about 2.01 inches.”

I love the dichotomy between giving me an estimate exact down to one hundredth of an inch (less than the size of a snowflake) and then throwing the word “about” in there to cover its butt.
