I'm really glad I put down fertilizer on Sunday hoping it was going to rain on Monday. Guess I'll be running the irrigation today to get it working.

You wouldn't have wanted that rain for fertilizer anyway. I had 0.45" in 10 minutes, which is way too fast to allow for absorption.

Got loud around 3am but when I opened radar, I was surprised that most of that line had dried up. CAP held most of the day, probably good, I don't need portatoes going through my yard. Just about had one a couple weeks ago @stormchaser2014 I didn't even share pics with you!

Have not kept up on the thread of many weathers but saw this pop into my FB feed so maybe already posted (probably). And from an AZ newspaper because I was in AZ for a week or so and the internet trackers and algorithms saw "Ah, Boxster mentioned AZ and logged on from there so we had better give him AZ news". Anyway, good news for AZ, been really dry even for them. Guy at bird resort I stayed in in a dry canyon was talking about how he had done his best o fire protect his cabins with cement fiber siding and metal roof and vegetation removal. Guy was a forest fire fighter for 20 years so maybe he'll stand a chance if Madera Canyon burns.

Anyway, as is the current normal, we are looking for drier than normal. Seems an annual forecast lately.

Sad for farmers, but happier for me as someone with severe tornado anxiety living in central IA.

This was tornado warned right? I remember one up by you a couple weeks I'm assuming this was it.

yep, April 2nd. I watched it come across from the west and it looked real sus and pulled up radar and watched velocity start to develop and get worse each scan. Told DH this is going to go tornado warned and sure enough. Went on a little chase with the youngest, lol. Big kid was very scared. I'm like dude it's way ahead of us and totally clear blue sky behind us. Weird kind of cold tornado but fun to see.
