You don't think the forecast was served with a little bit of hype?...Geez CW did a podcast on Sunday devoted to todays weather based on the week long forecast of severe weather for Monday.
It was always with the caveat that there was a cap that might hold. It's on you if you choose to ignore a key part of the forecast.

It’s not a bad thing if this turns out to be a bust.
For damage, yes.

For credibility? That's a different story. This has been hyped up for a week and the 'cap' wasn't really talked about a whole lot until yesterday unless you are super into the weather. I consider myself an above average weather connoisseur and I didn't see any cap mentions until last night.

Storm Chaser Brad Arnold said he was cutting south to Des Moines to chase the blips that might blow up into supercells, but Head Meteorologist Chris Kuball of We Are Iowa Local 5 is bearish because the convergence along the dryline is quite weak due to the southwesterly winds.

I'm sorry but you are full of it. Where were you seeing meteorologists hyping today up as a guarantee of widespread severe weather? I sure as hell wasn't this thread.

Then just go there and get that forecast. There are a lot of us who a super interested in the nuts and bolts of what goes into it and the nuances of it.

Don't spoil out for the rest of us by complaining about it. Just ignore this thread.
Oh my didn't know I couldn't express a different opinion. I didn't say anything negative about the weather thread at all but keep being a soft gentle snowflake.
(Even turned this into a weather analogy for you to keep the thread on topic)
