I’m starting to realize that now with NIL, those little 13 to 16 seeds just will struggle to compete in the tournament now. Money is king and they don’t have it.

CBS may need to start funding some mid-major NIL collectives to capitalize on their investment. At $1.5B per year or whatever it is now, dropping a few million to keep the first round meaningful might be a smart investment.

Screw Arizona. I'm still salty about that effing 3/4 court BS shot. Caleb Love is massively overrated. I hope they get destroyed.
However, see if that changes in coming years if this years results continue. A lot of the allure for casual fans, especially in the early rounds, is the potential for anyone to go on a run. If people don't think that's as possible anymore, they won't tune in that first weekend.
