Kinda crazy how it was a pretty close game at the end with St Johns shooting 28%. Arkansas got the perfect 2 seed for them.
St. John’s with the most predictable early exit ever. They suck to play in a regular season game because how hard they play and well coached. But in the tournament shooting usually catches up with you.
Honestly... kind of like our first 3 years under TJ.
I didn't see all of them but for the parts I could watch they were mostly deserved. There was some very physical play not getting called that certainly could have been.

As much as I hate to see an SEC team advance I do kind of enjoy that St. John's losing blew up a lot of brackets. It seems like they were a pretty common final 4 pick.
West Bracket is always juicy. I would have preferred that to ISU's draw. What you lose in geographic proximity, you gain in less frightful teams from all over the place. In the mean-time, Let's Go State! Beat the Black Bears and March on to Atlanta!
McCollum heading to West Virginia. Any thoughts? If he’s leaving Drake, anyplace other than the Hoks. The fan meltdown on getting jilted again will be absolutely hilarious.
St. John's is 0-4 vs #10 seeds which is a tournament worst.
I had an Iowa fan tell me yesterday that he is definitely going to Iowa. I have two alma maters (Missouri Western and Iowa State). McCollum already coached at Missouri Western's biggest rival. It would be fitting for him to coach at another one of my rivals.

I really liked Jay Wright's comments yesterday about TJ respecting the mid major. Arkansas isn't a mid major but they were a 7 seed, seemed like St Johns thought they could just go toe to toe with them and win but Arkansas was bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic. They just shoved it down St Johns throat, Pitino didn't ever adjust.
