You mean two guys that are 25 and breaking out? Sounds like two potentially really good young players. The one getting stupid production from Bryce Turang and Sal Frelick.

Some posters on this board will never give any credit to the Brewers. What happen to the poster who said the Brewers are feasting on bad teams and pitchers? You mean two guys that are 25 and breaking out? Sounds like two potentially really good young players.
Where are the why keep 3 catchers people?Well in hindsight good thing we didn't DFA McGuire.
Toronto trusts Gausman.
Cubs evidently don't trust Horton.
I was one of them although I wasn't up in arms about it either. I just questioned how long we could keep 3 until we needed to give the offense a spark with someone like Caissie or MoWhere are the why keep 3 catchers people?
Palencia looked like a dominant closer tonight. If he improves his slider, he will be almost unhittableI was one of them although I wasn't up in arms about it either. I just questioned how long we could keep 3 until we needed to give the offense a spark with someone like Caissie or Mo
Why are you so set on we need to get rid of Taillon? Seems like you and maybe another person or 2 here are constantly saying over the past year or so we should trade him. I think last trade deadline they should of been sellers and I would have been good with him and some other players being traded then when he was having a good season, but they held for some reason and still failed to make the playoffs. He's not that pricey of a pitcher in today's market for what he's done as a Cub. $18 mil for basically a 3rd or 4th guy in your rotation when both Steele and Shota are healthy. ERA may not be the sexiest sometimes but has WHIP of 1.28 1.13 and 1.11 which is really solid for a middle of the rotation guy that eats up innings and can go on hot streaks at times. You aren't going to get similar production without paying that or more. Would have to see some significant additions to the rotation to chance losing him after what we've been going through in recent seasons trying to fill out a healthy rotation. Even if you dump him of cost savings you probably still would have to pick up some of the tab and not get much return for him.Pretty sure we’re agreeing. I think Schwarber/ free agent ace is cheaper and money better spent than Tucker/ Taillon.
Just like every yearAnd yet, they're still going to lose the LDS 3-1 because the complete and total lack of talent catches up...
I was worried he may never find control off the strike zone the other year but he's made a believer out of me and has been a stud this season.Palencia looked like a dominant closer tonight. If he improves his slider, he will be almost unhittable
