If the brewers play .500 baseball from here out, and the cubs play .600. We would end up around a tie. Lot to ask to have both those happen. Impossible? Of course not. But, Really I can’t see either happening. It’s baseball so who knows, but it’s a lot to ask with only 45 games to go.

As a fan I like the mic'd up player conversations but as a player that has got to be annoying and distracting a bit too that I probably would not want to do that. Of course they had to hit a HR over PCA while they were talking to him. He would not have got that ball regardless but lets say it was still in play and he just missed catching it by a step. Hypothetical of course but you see them even in spring training talking to guys while they are at bat even.
He's starting to make a believer out of me. I was kinda down on him earlier this season when he had terrible exit velocity metrics but he has finally figured something out it seems.
Aggressive baserunning - who knew it could work. Counsel and the Cubs should take note…they seem to hate bunting or stealing in key spots now.
The priority to pull the ball this year causes issues when you aren’t on your game. Pulling off pitches and rolling over. I’ve always felt straight away should be your focus then when the pitch dictates you can turn on it.
Cancelling Marquee for rest of season. Will follow just on espn app when I can. Will wait for playoffs(hopefully) to start watching on national tv again.
