Let's hope Shaw figures it out quick and is back up soon.

I don't see how Workman is on the roster tomorrow. Ben Cowles MLB debut coming up.

Workman has to be close to averaging an error per start. He really hasn't shown he's a MLB at this point.

Add to that the Cubs just wasted some scoring chances.
  • 2nd & 3rd with no out in 2nd inning - no runs
  • bottom of 6th and Happ gets thrown out at plate. Feel like if he goes head first, he scores.
Add to that, the consistent problem that Cub relievers can't throw strikes. IMO they rely on batters chasing out of zone too much. Put the ball in the zone, but move it around- up/down, in/out.

If you want a guy that can foul off a bunch of pitches and not get on base, Justin Turner is your guy
