No kidding. Two categories with temps that overlap and watch vs. advisory sounds pretty much the same. Baby steps, I guess.

So basically they are just using the wind chill temperature to issue warnings so they don't need to differentiate if it's a warning based on wind chill temp or normal temp.

A little rain happening in the hood.. Other than the .06" one day this will be the 2nd rain since end of August. Think I might have heard thunder off in the distance so checked the radar and there's some color west of me so maybe this will be more than just hundredths.

Is the Des Moines metro ever getting anything? Ed Wilson showed .60 inches just 3 hours ago and it rained here for about 3 minutes today total.

Same with Cedar Falls. Looks like a good amount of rain south of us, but it never made it to us.
