Real early. 10:50am for HS and MS. 11:50am for elementary.

Doesn't quite beat my record. I went to the OG Novak Elementary at Linn-Mar. Did not have A/C, old brick three story building. Insanely hot on the top floor where I was at this point. School started at 8:45 and at 8:50 they announced a dismissal at 9:15. They knew they were going to do it to get the day to count so the busses did not even leave.

Why even have them go then?

Wish they had taken advantage of the infrastructure setup during Covid to have a way to do school from home rather than cancel class for weather.

If they’re dismissed before lunch, is it a day? I thought there was some rule about lunch had to be served to count as a day. But I’m not sure if CR is still on days or if they moved to the hours criterion.

My old high schools block scheduling on an early out day had the first lunch shift at 10:15 AM.

I believe my kids elementary starts serving at or just before 11 on a normal day.

It's splitting hairs but since I'm work from home

The 10:15 meal is "Second Breakfast" here. Followed by lunch, snack, second snack, and then snack with the kids.

My Jr at Wash had his being served at 10:30am. He's just going home for the day.
