I hate snow, but I guess this could be worse.
Interesting. I've been watching the Australian Open and its been really cool there compared to most years during the tournament. Looks like they're spared from this heat wave there.

Yes, much of it is ruralIsn’t that Western 95% of the state only inhabited by animals and very old, small cultural groups? Bad part is that population might not have AC.
Gotta love warm and moist.Well aren't you just full of good news lately? LOL! We love you, man.
Loader tractor kill switch froze up in the off position. So I pulled it out of the holder on the pump and turn on and off at the pump.Old tractor and blade I use to move snow was so cold that the starter button froze solid, and wouldn't start. finally thawed out to move snow and all blew back yesterday. Dug out again. Ups delivered package at 7:30 tonite, said it has been 3 days for roads to get clear enough to work. County finallly opened road wider than the farmers one lane.

Yeah, the snow feels wet for the first time since this mess startedFeels much better out there today.
Funny enough it's supposed to rain a bunch so the ice and snow will melt for all of the winter activities.

It has, but that makes the last 2 weeks seem even worse!
Des Moines had the second snowiest 11 days ever and they were only 2nd by .7 inches of snow (and the record included the daily record of snow). Hell the last 11 days would be the 11th snowiest month on record.
So the last 12 days have been brutal.
When you're up at 4A and it's already 28°!
I was just telling my son last night how crazy temperature swings can be in the winter. 40+ temp swing in a couple of days is welcome (I suppose as long as it goes up and not down) but 80 to 120 is close to unheard of.Feels much better out there today.

Give me snow all day over ice.St Louis area missed all that heavy snow.
Now we're paying for it with ice. I can't even back out of the garage as it's a slight decline to eventually a retaining wall drop off. I know where I'll end up. Nope. I'd rather have a foot of snow.
I'm sure we have some Reed Timmer followers here. Obviously he's more known for tornado chasing but he's been posting snow/ice videos in Oklahoma lately
He just posted this video. Should have captioned with "Like a glove!" lol
Definitely Oklahoma, complete with the cigarette and car parked in the lawn instead of the driveway.
Looks like it was actually in the STL area. The emergency vehicles don't even know how to drive down there?
