I don't know where you are.......but here in central Iowa outside of the last two weeks this winter has been rather uneventful.
Its definitely been a rough two weeks, but if we end up seeing it warm up into the 30s and be rather mild the rest of winter, on the whole this will have been a pretty easy one.

It has, but that makes the last 2 weeks seem even worse!

Des Moines had the second snowiest 11 days ever and they were only 2nd by .7 inches of snow (and the record included the daily record of snow). Hell the last 11 days would be the 11th snowiest month on record.

So the last 12 days have been brutal.

Isn’t that Western 95% of the state only inhabited by animals and very old, small cultural groups? Bad part is that population might not have AC.

I hate snow, but I guess this could be worse.

Interesting. I've been watching the Australian Open and its been really cool there compared to most years during the tournament. Looks like they're spared from this heat wave there.

For this week it seems like Central Iowa is kind of bordering on snow/rain line, at least with the last temps I saw. Hopefully no roof collapsed or anything!

Not exactly sure.
Old tractor and blade I use to move snow was so cold that the starter button froze solid, and wouldn't start. finally thawed out to move snow and all blew back yesterday. Dug out again. Ups delivered package at 7:30 tonite, said it has been 3 days for roads to get clear enough to work. County finallly opened road wider than the farmers one lane.
Loader tractor kill switch froze up in the off position. So I pulled it out of the holder on the pump and turn on and off at the pump.

We have a car wash membership, but the car wash has been closed ever since.the extreme cold temps arrived (funny how we don't get a refund when that occurs). Anyway, I've become a little OCD about keeping our vehicles clean, so I'm really excited to run them through the wash this week.

Feels much better out there today.

Funny enough it's supposed to rain a bunch so the ice and snow will melt for all of the winter activities.

I will take those 12 brutal days over 3 brutal months every year.
