Sometimes I miss living up there and other times it’s 40ish here and raining while you all get snow and then I'm glad.

I saw my area is projected to get 2.5" of rain tonight, which going from memory is approximately 10x the amount we've had in the last 2 months.
Telling a gal from Wisconsin about "beggar's night" and them moving it. She had no idea what that meant.
And temps keeps dropping, now 53. Your "snow" made me look and I do see snow has creeped into the forecast for Twin Cities. Friday looks decent but will start at 30 degrees.
Last night at 9 pm, warm and humid:
do you have to carry around a stick to beat off all the women who try and jump in with you in that thing
That would take a Hurricane Helene type of rain...and that might not be enough.
this will be the first weather adversity pick up of the school year. it will be peak critical thinking by all parents involved for sure.
Remember you always have the option to pick up early. Even 10-15 minutes can save a lot of hassle in the pickup line.
LOL. At my age that never happens. Well, once last year at local golf course. Nice looking gal with nice clothes and expensive looking handbag started talking to me as I was getting into the car. Thought, this is strange since nobody talks to really old guys. And figured it out quickly as it was soon revealed she was 100% cray cray and maybe off her meds. Not axe murder crazy or full street schizophrenic but clearly a bit delusional. It was a bit unnerving.
