***Official 2024 Chicago Cubs Thread***

They changed the rules a few years ago that all games not considered "official" will resume at a later date if needed. I'm going to assume they wait this out for awhile to get it in. Otherwise they'll probably finish the game when Cubs visit the Dodgers in September. Or I guess they could try to finish it Thursday while the Cubs are on the West coast and they have a day off Thursday, and Dodgers have a day off Thursday and will be in town but not sure if that's ever been done. But 95% sure they'll wait it out as long as they need to tonight

Radar looks like it should clear up at 5ish.

No chance Imanaga pitches again today. I’m so sure the Dodgers would have been whining like that about playing conditions if they were up 6-0. Annoying.

In the long run it keeps him stronger but it's too bad he couldn't get the 5th in. Bottom half of the order. Plus nobody would of got a 3rd look at him till October.

I love when the Cubs are on the West coast during the season as it's a nice little change of pace from the rest of the year and I usually stay up late anyway. Ten games in is a little early for my liking but I'll suck it up and watch the next two nights anyway

Assad got squeezed by the home plate ump the first at bat in the 6th. Could have been a very different inning had he got the calls blue had been giving all game up to that point.
