tractor broke- had about 6 inches of heavy wet snow.

luckily neighbor/family member had his tractor.
 
You probably going to want to get it done before the temp drops. This snow will be impossible to clear once the temp drops a few degrees below freezing.

It's going to be 31 degrees at 5 o'clock when I get to it. It'll be fine
 
Iced wheel tracks and footprints in the driveway/sidewalks from leaving snow are a massive pet peeve of mine. I prefer to get it done shortly after so the sun can melt off what little is left and have clean concrete.

Not a "pet peeve" of mine but I do feel the same way. I just feel it is safer and once I clear the drive...I don't have to think about it any longer so I just force myself to get it done.

My preferred method is just packing down a path. LOL

Then you would have been as irritated as I was this morning when I opened the garage door after the plows went by to find one of guys who plows my neighbor's lane pulled all the way into my driveway in order to turn around. Took forever to scrape that crap up.
