I’ve had to sit on my ass at home all week and don’t get an ounce of white stuff. When the **** are we getting snow? Damn weather never delivers.

Come to Minnesota? We've got a ton-o-snow.

Ice dam friendly here this season even if your house is not "leaking" heat and my isn't but it's still melting and freezing an ice dam and huge icicles on my north side. There a good 16" of snow on my roof and that's enough to insulate the layer at the shingles and melt it.

Who has a good update on next week? How much are we looking at? I'm only looking for worst-case apocalypse kind of stuff here, none of this 1 or 2 inches bologna. Is this a storm worthy of Frankie chiming in on or nah?

I just looked, KCCI and weather channel both saying 5-8” Wednesday night for the metro
Looks like there’s a chance Ames could just miss out if it tracks just a little south from the current projection. That’s what I’m rooting for…. miss Ames, and let clones21 have his non-dud snow Storm In Des Moines.

Some GFS models are painting a butt load of snow the next 4-8 days for two storms hitting south and central Iowa. Was smirking about it until I see upstream where it's coming from in central and western the NWS in Nebby has already issued WSW for Tuesday late into Wednesday and Thursday.

Interesting to see how all of this plays out.
