Less chance of severe weatherIs that good or bad?
Good if you'd prefer not to have a significant storm. Is that good or bad?
Less snow also?
I’ll believe it when I see it.The snow is a different storm. Tomorrow is rain with chances of severe thunderstorm.
Wednesday night into Thursday is snow.
Less chance of severe weather
If you are going Rochester via twin cities, it’s going to look long.Any guess as to how Wednesday/Thursday will look between Ames and Clear Lake (and Twin Cities)? Do I need to plan on leaving Wednesday night if I have to get up to Rochester?

We still have a good amount of snow in the clear lake area. You Algona area and they have more and drifting was heavy the last few days we went that way.
More than anything I want the sis to have safe travels. But if we could get like 6-12” in Waukee and the metro and it stops in Story Country, I’d be happy.
Stop at Huxley. I don’t want my daughter out in that mess in Ames.More than anything I want the sis to have safe travels. But if we could get like 6-12” in Waukee and the metro and it stops in Story Country, I’d be happy.
So do you need to go to Rochester or TCs? Or both?I have to pick up a coworker in Clear Lake, then I think we'll skate around the Twin Cities and go through Edina. I'm going to guess it's not much better over there...
You're the best, Jer.I hope you get snowed in (but please don't hurt yourself shoveling or snowblowing!).

Why I said if you were going to Rochester via TCs that it would be long. Like 2-3 hours extra. Thinking snow is a little lighter along 90. Not positive though.Sorry, I was totally unclear.
Rochester by way of Clear Lake, from Ames. Supposed to drive up and back Thursday, wondering if I need to leave the day before.
