NFL: **** Official 2023 NFL Draft Thread ****

Gibbs is a head scratcher as a pure RB. But I think they took him as a space guy- 3rd down back, part of 2 back offense & split him out or use him as WR. Plus he's a solid kick returner.

Opposite of Deebo Samuel role with 49ers: Duel RB/WR.

My Packers f'ed up another 1st round pick.... wonderful. Horrible pick... and not just because he's a Hawkeye.

You have to go with JSN there IMO... or if not... go OL. DL is not a big need. Van Ness is a solid player, but not special at all.

Lions already have DeAndre Swift and David Montgomery. What a dumb pick. When Swift is healthy, he’s a game changer. They just drafted a third string back in the first round.

Only way that makes sense is if they don't think Swift is ever going to stay healthy. This is a replacement for him as Montgomery is that physical side of that duo. Cambell wants to run the ball, so if one of your backs can't stay healthy, you need an insurance policy.

But yes, they could have gotten that insurance policy tomorrow night.
