That is a AA/AAA team in Oakland. But the cubs did what they should do to bad teams, beat and sweep. Last years team would’ve drop 1 and likely all games would’ve been close, not this year.

I think the Owner for the A's must be trying to go the same route as the Owner in the movie Major League or something. Try to get as bad as possible so can move the A's to Vegas.

Well it is mid April. I hope you are still optimistic. They are 2 games out of first and solidly in the first wildcard spot with +2.3 run differential per game.

That I Cubs roster full of good prospects up and own the line up, Mervis seems to be on a good track if he keeps mashing, especially if Hosmer struggles. But Morel, Nelson V, Slaughter and once Canario gets healthy, he’s in the mix and don’t sleep on Caleb Killian, if he gets going on the mound and finds his velo and limits walks, he’s brings great depth options for Chicago’s rotation.

Should be fun in Des Moines. I won’t say it was similar to 2013/2014, because we had top level studs in Javy and KB and Soler, but the quality is there.

I don't think Gomes really saw him and was busting his ass to get a throw off. Kind of a tunnel vision situation.
