It just got windy here. My wife put the goats away and is now worried about them blowing away.

with my amatuer weather knowledge, that was 60-70 mph gusts in north ankeny. pretty much done now.

we have 15 trees. half of them being very large maples. thankfully it looks like only small branches got knocked down.

I was a little surprised not to hear any tornado sirens with this storm, given the wind and how often they use them for severe weather these days.

Seemed like powerful gusts in Ames, but the sustained winds didn't seem too bad and everything was pretty short lived.

Not my wife, lol. Ours don't seem to be ********, they are fun to watch run around, play and headbutt each other. My wife don't like it when I decide to get in and headbutt them lol.
