Hard to tell, I imagine it will be weakening by that point when it get's here after 9-10PM. This will be an overnight system in our area. The storms are riding a stationary front so as it wobbles so does the storms.

Is this actually a derecho? I'm beginning to feel like they're just starting to call every wind storm a derecho.

We experienced a derecho in both July 2011 and August 2020. It was called a derecho both times.

One was early morning (before 8) and one was mid day.

Just visiting myself, but they are burying lines for Google just down the street. I don't know if any parts of WDM have customers up and running yet.
