Yeah it was. We drove home that night and hit snow up around Bethany I want to say. By the time we hit southern Iowa it wasn't fun.

I think we had to pull off at Osceola for gas and the Casey’s was filled with Cyclones.

I’m in the thick of it in the IA MN border and accuweather still saying 4-8 with higher likelihood to be below than over.

The gf gets all excited for 4” of snow, but when I show her 4”, she rolls over and goes to sleep.

Several models have gone up significantly for central Iowa this afternoon. Weather Underground raised it's estimate from 8 to 9" Beaverdale

So I have to drive to Kansas City tomorrow at like 2pm from Des Moines. How screwed am I? KC report says snow starting later at like 7pm.

If you can leave earlier it would be better for you.

Algona cancelled too. Wife gets a stay home day with the kids as I go to work. Not complaining.

Weather underground started increasing our totals again mid day, 7.3" (what my wife wishes she'd get from me) now forecasted.
