I'm guessing the snow started around 11AM-ish, at least in WDM.

Get up at 5:30a, still snowing.

18+ hours of snow. That's impressive.

Waiting for the first person to fire up their snow blower. I don’t wanna be “that guy”.

My weird 70 year old neighbor went to the gym already at 5. At least I know how much snow is piled up at the end of the driveway now as he pretty much leveled his off.

Hard to tell because of the drifts but it feels like way more than 9” in Adel. I cleared twice last night. First round was 6”, second was 3-4”. And there’s another 2-3” out there this morning.

Way more then 9 in Adel I'm sure. That total was reported last night around 7 or 8.

Most of these spotters will check in again around 7 am. Expect updates around 8.

Conversation today in Iowa. "How much did you get" Me "About 11 inches" Them " I am sure I had more than that" Typical Iowan talk, just like rain totals. Someone tells you there rain gauge had a different amount than your and act puzzled by your claim, no matter what the amount.
