Cousins has led some kind of game-saving drive practically every game this season. Two of them yesterday, since the D/ST continued to f*** them up for him.
The way the defense just sat back and let Sam Darnold put together a 96 yard drive in about 1:10 was sickening.

Hey everyone,

I'm headed up to Minneapolis this weekend for the game against the Cowgirls. I haven't been to a game in 10+ years, and am wanting to get some advice on gameday must-do's.

We are staying near US Bank Stadium, so would want some insight on great restaurants, breweries, and things to do before/after the game. My girlfriend and I are always looking for a great burger and beer place!

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you are near Washington, my wife and I really like Dayblock Brewing. It has good beer and a really unique menu. Crooked Pint Ale House has pretty good Juicy Lucy's. There's nothing particularly unique about the space but the food and drink selection is solid.

If you are on the other side of 35, we like Town Hall Brewery. Good beer and great sandwiches. I recommend the Tennessee Hot Chicken sandwich. The Market at Malcom Yards is a Food Hall on the other side of the University of Minnesota. It has a fun variety of food stands. It's also within walking distance of Surley Brewing which is one of the nicest and largest breweries you'll see.

If you are near the convention center, Hell's Kitchen has great food, especially for breakfast. Key's in the Foshay Tower is known for great breakfasts too. I've heard that it may have gone downhill a bit but it used to be fantastic. Britt's Pub is in this area which has a fun rooftop patio bar.

If you have time during the day, explore Mill Ruins Park and walk across the Stone Arch Bridge. It's one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities. You may also want to walk through the public spaces of the Guthrie Theater. The Yellow Room and The Endless Bridge are really cool things to see. The public spaces should be open to the public at no cost.

I can't help much with tailgating but there should be plenty of activities in the plazas near the stadium.

I'd try to get to the game pretty early so that you can explore the stadium a bit and be sure you get to your seats before they blow the "Gjallarhorn" and do the Skol chant. I thought the Skol chant would be goofy but I've decided that I really enjoy it, even if it is goofy.

Pog Mahones is right by the stadium and is a good place to grab food and beer before going in

My wife and I did a preseason game this year. While looking for a pregame drink spot (some of the previously mentioned were full) we ended up at the lobby bar of the Moxy hotel. Nothing too out of the ordinary but it was great for a few drinks and very close to stadium.

If you want a good burger checkout Parlour in the North Loop. Freehouse has good food too.

Modist, Inbound and Fulton are breweries all near that area too. The North Loop is a nice area but probably about a 30 min walk to the stadium so some of the other suggestions are a little closer.

I second getting there early to walk around the stadium. Lots to see and don't want to have to rush to get to your seats before showtime. The skol chant is amazing. Have fun!

If you want to go to Dayblock Brewing, go early as we've seen INSANE wait times on a gameday

Boludo pizza near the stadium is great. Day Block is great. Do a little light rail bar crawl starting at Inbound Brewery near Twin Stadium. Stop at Inbound, 12 Cider, The Loon for a Grape Ape, Boludo, etc.
