NBA: ***Official 2019 NBA Playoffs Thread***

The only way I can watch these NBA games is to mute the TV. The piped in "music" that they play every single time the ball is brought up the court is WAY too irritating for me to even watch.

Last night for instance, every time GS brought the ball up, they piped in the "DEFENSE" chant. And every time Houston brought the ball up is was the same horrific beat. Why do they ruin the game like that anyway? If I were there in person live, I'd either have to leave or just deal with the migraine I'd get.

He has been insane in the playoffs. The Sixers lost the game in that stretch when Embiid missed FTs, missed a bunny, and turned it over. Toronto has HC advantage back, but I think this one is a toss-up.

With the mess the Lakers are, it makes me wonder if Toronto has a shot at keeping him.

The Clippers sound very likely. Sounds like the Lakers have been out of the running ever since signing LeBron.

Toronto is going to have some decisions to make. We'll see is Gasol declines his player option. I would see what they could get for Lowry and start rebuilding around Siakam. Although I'm curious if they would take some of Denver's young talent for Siakam.

He'll more than likely be a Clipper.
Kind of what I was assuming after the Lakers mess but I didn't know if he's been swayed enough to stay in Toronto.
The Clippers played some hard ball at the end of the year and have a nice young team. Doc coached them well.

Weird series for Embiid. Played Game 2 with a case of mudbutt, dominated Game 3, and then had to have an IV the morning of Game 4 just to get in decent enough shape to play. He's super talented and when his body's right he's great, but man. It's always something with that guy.

If the favorites win tomorrow all four series will be knotted up at 2-2. Great road win by the Nuggets.

I didn't think they had it in them after that 4OT marathon but that was a tough win. I've underestimated them all postseason. I still don't think either team can knock off the Warriors but this has been a fun series to watch.

Doesn't he have a $15M house near LA or something? I could be wrong on that.

Not sure about that but I know he's from LA. The Lakers seem a little too high profile and dramatic for his demeanor but the Clips make a lot of sense if he wants to go home and play for a contender. They've done a nice job building a good young core there, and I think they've cleared enough cap room to add two max players this summer.

Both games yesterday were super great, I see both of those series going the wire. I don't like TOR or PHI but man that series has been fun to watch. Kahwi has been nasty. The dimensions that dude has added to his game are insane, not sure I can remember a player evolving like he has.
