The Virginia-UMBC game almost made my eyes bleed. I had to turn it to the TCU game. I'm rooting hard for TCU because Syracuse never should have been in the tourney.

Not related to this year's tournament, but I was thinking about what time slot I prefer when Iowa State is in the tournament. Ideally, the early slot on Thursday because after a win you could just relax and enjoy the rest of the first two days. However, 2015 ruined that one for me. I couldn't watch the rest of the first weekend. I can pretty much guarantee that if we get an early Thursday game again, I'll be irrationally worried about it. The last slot on Friday would require a lot of waiting around and is nerve wracking. I think we played one of those games early in Fred's tenure. Basically, I think the night games on Thursday are the ideal time.

They look terrible against the zone, and they had better score cause their defense isn’t getting it.
We all know Syracuse will somehow make the elite 8. Boeheim's teams seem to underperform in the regular season and overperform in the post season
I don't know, I think that UMBC team is a fun little team to watch. That tiny guard is pretty good.
I'm amused at the announcers who are just baffled when they say that UMBC plays good defense.

I think that was 4 or 5 steps before the pass lol. TCU sprang back to life out of nowhere. Syracuse is not all that good, so they should win if they can be any kind of decisive against the zone.
Looks like a hell of a leader so far. Watched him in the Vermont game that got them here as well.
