MLB: ***Official 2018 Chicago Cubs Season Thread***

Big fan of seeing a 450' moonshot out of KB. Hendricks is pitching well. Being 1.5 up on the Brewers will be large

On game tracker that Wong walk looked pretty bad like at least 2 of the first 3 balls should have been strikes if not all three of them. How did it look live?

During the pitching change I finally got to see the Bote error. It looked like
Rizzo might have drug his foot long enough to make the catch but I could see why the call stood. Not enough there to overturn it. Unfortunately they had the Cardinals crew audio and their color guy was beside himself why it was taking so long. He thought it was clear and not even close. He's looking at a poor replay that doesn't show Rizzo's glove saying that his foot is off the bag and the ball isn't even there and you can't see Rizzo's arm above his forearm. Good grief. The view from the 1st base camera well made it look like the ball was in time if his foot was dragging on the base. If it was off, it was close.

I really can't stand some other team's crews.

FLY IT! 1.5 up and Magic Number at 2 with a combined 5 games to go between Cubs/Brewers. I'd love for a Brewers loss and Cubs win tomorrow so we could give the regulars another day of rest on Sunday

I like that the Cards burned through 6 relief pitchers in 8 innings pitched. Not as big of an issue with expanded rosters, but they will still likely have to rely on some not-as-reliable arms later in the series.

What? Game tracker still showing just one out with one run already scored. No counting chickens!
