My guess would have been a Murphy leadoff Homer and then the Cubs go back to dormancy....Or should I say back into hibernation....

Did I see that homeboy who entered the game in the 9th for the Tigers had a 0.51 ERA? That number has taken a major hit.

Hopefully Matt Harvey is gone tomorrow. Cubs are scheduled to face him on Friday and it’s a Chatwood day....

Kasper just said it is officially the 2nd longest hit ball in the majors this year. He crushed it.
I know it’s only 2 games, but I love Murphy’s approach. It looks like he knows as soon as the ball comes out of the pitcher’s hand. He didn’t even blink at a couple of decent sinkers during that last AB.
Awesome seeing Hamels Getting the opportunity for the complete game then actually finishing it off. He has been unreal so far
I love Javy, but what a terrible error to start the 9th. That just can’t happen. I’m pissed about that for Hammels.
