***Official 2018-19 Transfer Thread***

ISU offered and recruited Clarke pretty hard out of High School. Early ISU was thought to be one of his top choices before VT got Buzz.
I remember that actually. But was he a Hoiberg era recruit or Prohm? If he was a Hoiberg recruit I could definitely see Matt getting him. Clarke known for a great motor if I remember it right.

I want to say it was with Hoiberg but it may have been during the transition to Prohm. It was a while ago (2015) and I am not 100% sure.

I agree the Nevada doesn't have the history, conference or fan following of ISU.
That said, Nevada under Musselman was rated in the top 15 the past couple of years and consistently involved with and getting the top transfers available (even got a McD's AA too) the past 5 years. They will be major player and stiff competition for all the top transfers this spring.
They are in someways the new Blue Blood of Transfers and Transfer U.
I'm suprised Musselman hasn't landed another gig. He's definitely a nomad.

I have never quite figured out if graduate transfers want to win or want PT.

I think most are from smaller schools and just want the opportunity to prove themselves at a higher level whether it be with PT or winning.
