6-0 180 lb guard 9.0 ppg 1.7 rpg 2.6 apg in 23 mpg. 38% 3P shooter. Sit 1 play 1.5 I realize isu doesn’t have a scholarship available but i figure they will in the spring and wanted to kick this thread off.
Just saw this as well. Would be a great transfer get. He seems like the best PG they have when I have watched them. Wasn't impressed with Quickley or Hagans.
The consensus around Villanova is that Jay Wright is unhappy with his defense and that is why he isn't seeing consistent minutes. He was committed to Arizona and decommitted during the initial FBI circus with Zona. He'll probably be a mid-year transfer. Crazy thing I noticed when looking into Quinerly - he's also a freshmen but is exactly 2 years to the day older than THT.
Sounds like Syracuse may be a favorite here. LaSalle also getting some buzz (Quade from Philadelphia)
Who have both been pretty poor as well. I'm starting to wonder if Cal isn't quite sure how to coach PGs. Aside from Wall and to a lesser extent Tyler Ulis and DeAaron Fox, they're PG play has not bee great.
I don't think he's a very good coach in general. Sure he won a title but whoever had Anthony Davis that year was winning it. Absolutely great salesman though.
He was supposed to be the man last year, and got his chance, but their lowest ranked recruit in Gilgeous-Alexander ended up being their best player.
Kevin Sweeney @CBB_Central Kevin Sweeney Retweeted Jeff Borzello That’s an interesting name to add to the midseason list. Really liked him last year as a combo forward who can shoot it some and slash. A10 schools should be all over him. Seems like he'd be a Talley type recruit that Prohm would like but I assume being a mid-season transfer and ISU wouldn't have a scholarship available to take him on right now in any case.
Maybe he wants to go the McKay route and take out student loans for a semester? That’s also assuming attrition for isu come spring. I love tracking transfers but will be a slow winter for ISU without any scholarships to offer and will be quiet this spring until a departure is officially announced.
@GoodmanHoops Florida 6-foot-9 sophomore forward Chase Johnson will transfer, source told @WatchStadium. West Virginia native who played sparingly in his time in Gainesville. https://247sports.com/player/chase-johnson-90622/
Man I totally forgot about Isiah Stokes (reading about Florida's roster after the Johnson transfer). I really thought we were going to get him and its looking good that we didnt, really struggling to get any minutes there on an average Florida team.
@GoodmanHoops Oregon sophomore forward Abu Kigab told @WatchStadium that he will transfer. 6-foot-7 Canadian started four games this season for the Ducks. https://247sports.com/player/abu-kigab-86453/ @CBB_Central I loved this kid in FIBA U19 2 summers ago... RJ Barrett got all the headlines on that team but Kigab was awesome. Played hard and could make plays all over the court. Intriguing midseason transfer to watch. Interesting note, Abu and Lindell would have been teammates on Team Canada U19 in Egypt.
@jeffborzello Saint Louis freshman Carte'Are Gordon requesting his release. Former top-100 prospect. Was averaging 8.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks this season. 6'8" Center would have 3 to play. https://247sports.com/Player/CarteAre-Gordon-86005/
