I don’t think we should bad mouth TJ. I love the things he did here. We should be able to love TJ and live Iowa State, right?

Haha...touché. That’s fair. I shouldn’t ‘speculate’ like that. My bad. At least I admit it. Just know he wanted the ISU job and probably still does. Not sure he wouldn’t want to talk down Coach Prohm or keep players from ISU at this point.

@GoodmanHoops Drexel’s 6-foot-9 Alihan Demir is transferring, source told @Stadium. Grad transfer who put up 14.8 points and 6.4 boards this past season. This one’s got high-major written all over it.

@GoodmanHoops Here’s another transfer likely to jump up: Presbyterian freshman guard Adam Flagler is leaving, source told @Stadium. Was Big South Freshman of the Year — averaged 15.9 points as a frosh.

The Drexel 6’9” player intrigues me. I mean, can we really bank on Solomon staying healthy??? Wouldn’t mind another immediately eligible big!

I think that would be a tough sell with a proven starter quality big and a future star quality big already on the roster.
I think you are over valuing our bigs accomplishments. Future star is silly to say at this point. At this point, we have serviceable big men, can’t say they have proven a higher classification than that. Most teams in the league could match us in talented big men imo.

This is true. However, if Wigginton ends up leaving, then there's a bigger need for a scoring wing or guard.

I can only imagine the hell that transferring so much does to your academics.

He is going for the Sarah Palin record (five in five years).

I agree, however both could be important even now imo. For me, first choice should be a long scoring wing but you can't turn away some of the best talent if it's available.

I disagree from the viewpoint of a potential incoming grad transfer. Young is a proven starter. Conditt certainly will be. Would we sit Conditt for the most part to give minutes to a grad transfer? No, I don't think we would. Moot point as the staff will almost certainly not be bringing in an immediately eligible 5.

I like that we are going after him. However, if UNC is going after him and he is from around there. Not much chance. IT's like a who's who going after the kid.
UNC is going after and will probably land Cole Anthony the number 4 recruit of 2019 and Precious Achiuwa the number 13 recruit of 2019. Both are wing players. I'd guess Tucker is a backup. Not saying we land him, but if THT and Lindell are both game, we have a lot of playing time to fill.

Anothony is a lead guard and Achiuwa is a 3/4 and can't shoot that well. Tucker could easily start with those guys. I also don't think Achiuwa to UNC is a lock. He has been pretty quiet with his recruitment and says he remains open to all schools.

I believe he only has visits scheduled to UNC and Kansas though. At any rate, we are in the race at least.
