Yeah, this sounds like a Dom Uhl type of assessment...
Wonder where the ol' Dumb Mule is these days? Prolly riding the pine somewhere in Europe...

Get an Ad Blocker, old man.
We will lose Nixon and either lose/not have back for next year Wigginton and Horton-Tucker after next season. If PT is his worry, then the pitch is easy that he would come off the redshirt as the new focus of the offense, replacing LW or THT as the volume scorer.
Having a PG like Haliburton around to feed him has to be a selling point, too. Everybody worth their salt is going to want this kid, but the path is there for a courtship.
I did not even realize this, but here are the AST and TO numbers for Nick and Tyrese...
Nick = 140 AST / 55 TO = 2.54
Tyrese = 125 AST / 28 TO = 4.46
I know Nick was the one bringing the ball up the court, but Tyrese was not too far behind him for orchestrating the offense. I feel better about next year seeing this.
For comparison, for Monté's career...
768 AST / 165 TO = 4.65
No doubt. He had 33 offers out of HS (including us). Anyone know who his top picks were before deciding on Alabama?
Going under the assumption that we will have 2 more open spots this offseason, here’s my list of wants:
1. Kira Lewis
2. Sit-out big man to replace MJ (unless we get Foster before this slot needs filled)
3. Any kind of guard that’s >40% 3pt shooter
This Kid is a little different got into the States late and that really hurt is recruiting ranking. He would be a top 50-75 kid if not. He is one of the top European Prospects in the 2019 Class and has offers from some very good programs. If he wants to come to ISU and we have an opening you have to take him 100% of the time.
I'm a little behind here who is this guy?
Since Kira Lewis' coach was fired is there any way he can get a waiver? That would be epic. And we need a PG.
Sit-out big man is OK but better get one for this season as well.
Moving on from Halliburton already? Bold.
I think we all know TH can play point but we also like the idea of a 5 star point guard and keep TH doing what he did this year. Bring it up, play the 2 some, play the 3 some. I think everyone here is on board with him starting at Point guard next year. Options are always good though.
Why do fans still think it’s the 1980’s?Isn’t Prentiss Nixon a PG as well? We don’t need a million PGs we’re going to need some scoring from the 2/3 spot if THT or Wiggs (or both) leave.
I assume he's referring to Clearence "Frenchy" Nadolny, 6'3" French combo guard ISU has been recruiting him pretty hard during the season with Prohm flying to visit with him a few weeks ago. He has been really producing over the spring and gaining a lot of attention. ISU was one of his first HM offers and he seems pretty impressed with the staff.
CN is releasing his top 3 schools today and ISU will likely be one IMO with West Virginia (fresh off a OV) and either Georgetown (he visitied) or perhaps Texas Tech who recently offered.

Kira Lewis, Haliburton, and Nixon would be great together. Add in Wigginton and/or any contributions from Jackson plus THT as the small four, and it gets really exciting.
Dude, you gotta quit ending on an impartial sentence, or I'm going to send a life alert necklace your way for my own piece of mind.
