SMU freshman SF is transferring. Froling is listed at 6'11" so could be an intriguing stretch post. There is a prior connection with Larry and Prohm with the Carter situation too.

@GoodmanESPN SMU freshman Harry Froling has decided to transfer, sources told ESPN. Talented and skilled Aussie. Averaging 4.3 ppg and 3.2 rpg per game.

Would love to get this kid if Lard doesn't work out and he has a younger brother who is pretty good as well IIRC.

Sounds like this guy will be the gem of the mid-year transfers. Impressive offer list during his initial recruitment (Arizona, Illinois, Creighton, Wisconsin, etc.). Wonder if one of those schools will be his next destination..

That tweet seems to imply that he'd be a good get for a high mid major, but I'm wondering if he'll do better than that, as teams might think that he'll be game ready after a year off of just practicing.

Looks like Froling is also considering going pro as well. Possible that he was homesick and wants to play pro in Australia?

I don't know.....who watched that video. While he has a nice 3-ball stroke, it didn't look like he ran or jumped very well. Which is probably why Fran's quote of "speed of game" comes into play.

As for Cunliffe of Ariz. State, I wonder what happened there. Averaging about 10 and 5 seems like a guy having pretty good success and playing time.

Sam Cunliffe, a really good recruit and pretty good freshman at Arizona State is transferring.

Isaac Copeland, another really good recruit, and Georgetown Junior is transferring. Had a good sophomore season but saw his minutes decrease this year.

Both would be good options for sit out transfers.

Seem like he should just fly to Ames and Sign this weekend in prior to the Drake game ala Deonte. :cool:

Seriously though I could definetly see Prohm interested in a 4 star PG with a lot of good offers.
