Anyone know anything on this Micquell Cotton? He tweets about ISU a lot, has ISU in his background on Twitter and his information. I know he was a 2014 recruit, if I remember correctly, he did not qualify and was going to IWCC. Anyone know any other information on him?

Very interesting. Was huge into ISU and was reportedly down to Us, Indiana, and Syracuse. Didn't make grades and I thought signed with Iowa Western

If he didn't qualify, he'd be a 2016 recruit, right?
And if he's at IWCC, he'd be a teammate of Charlie Rogers...right?
That's what I was thinking. If Charlie had stuck around, you'd think that he'd be in the running for a starting safety spot right now. Or the nickel, one of the two.
IMO, ISU is making a real effort in getting more size in the Defensive backfield. Look at our current recruits and commits. Cotton is only 5'8". IMO, the days of the shorter DB's at ISU is coming to an end. Too many big receivers in the Big XII.

Iowa already has 14 commits for 2015, dang!! BUT... 6 of them are 2 star guys, the other 8 are 3 star guys. Their recruiting seems to have gone down the last couple years. Only 2 of the 14 commits are defensive players... I remember not all that long ago when they were getting a good number of 4 star guys. I know stars don't matter, but after watching several videos on their commits, I am not impressed. Good!
Iowa did just get James Daniels, OL out of Ohio. #4 center nationally. Chose Iowa over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Michigan, Michigan St., Ohio St., Penn St., Wisconsin. That'll help.
Great get for you guys. No recruiting ******* matches needed. Kirk's results speak for themselves.

Didn't see anything about that. He probably signed right after my last post, which would confirm that I am bad luck!
I think you are right with the Hawk class on two points....not that impressive from a star standpoint, but Kirk is a very good talent evaluator and developer. While the class won't be star studded I feel the OL class has big potential...Daniels film is really impressive. I am a pretty big fan of 2* LB Jinning (watch his film), and I am a big Boyle guy. Overall I trust the coaching staffs eyes. I like what you guys are going this year as well.
That Graham kid has awesome measurables. You will have some tough competition, but it can be done.

Rivals now has ALL of our commits rated. 6 guys are 3 stars and 4 guys are 2 stars. Not bad!! Ozigbo is the 42nd rated RB in the country. Nerness is now listed as a DE.
