no kidding. Even if you're not an NBA fan, this first round is really worth watching. Some great basketball being played. Tons of drama.
What an ending, but damn, I was hoping for 6 Game 7's this weekend. The last few years have been good, but these playoffs have been great.
Even before the way it ended, the Houston vs Portland series was by far the most fun to watch 1st round matchup IMO.
I can't believe how wide open Lillard came on that last play. I've watched that replay a few times now and the Blazers didn't do anything special to free up Lillard. It looks like Parsons just took a terrible angle trying to get through the screen set by Mathews.
Three Game 7 matchups on tap for today - Hawks at Pacers, Grizzlies at Thunder, and Warriors at the Clips. I'll take the home teams, but I have zero confidence in the Pacers pick. Lance could put up a triple double, Korver could hit ten three pointers, Teague could score 40, George could hit for fifty - everything's in play with this goofy-*** series. The only thing I'm sure of is that Roy Hibbert will play fewer than fifteen minutes this game. Vogel's got no choice now that he decided to go with a small lineup, and even if the Pacers advance to the second round I'm not sure how he handles Hibbert. It's not just a matchup problem; the big guy is mired in some kind of funk. He's a complete liability on both ends of the court.

especially with a foul to give, that's pretty unforgivable defense in that situation which really demonstrates the Rockets defense in the entire series
Yeah. Harden and Parsons treat defense like a nuisance. Jeremy Lin also deserves dishonorable mention for his "efforts" on the defensive end.
James Harden is an elite offensive player, but at this point it's fair to wonder if he's really a franchise guy. Too streaky, nonchalant defender.

Of all the Game 7s, this one has the best chance of being an instant classic. So much experience on both sides, great coaching, and a plethora of guys on either team unafraid of the big moments.
They are both unbelievable. Watching this series would drive me nuts if I was a Rockets or Thunder fan. Both of these teams run so many great sets, and do so many different things well. The Mavs find so many ways to get Dirk the ball, both teams are so enjoyable to watch.
Granted, not everyone can score buckets in the NBA but like Chuckwagon says, "He's turrible".
