Bird himself once said that NBA players tend to tune a coach out after about three seasons; Vogel in his third full year as head coach. If the collapse completes itself in Game Six and the Pacers head home, I bet Bird will start over with another head coach and tinker with the roster as much as he can to find some more offense.

Was looking at the free agents available this summer and there's quite a few offense first guards available. I would think Kyle Lowry might be a good fit, the Pacers can't go into next year with George Hill as their pg again, especially if they lose Stephenson, Hill just does not penetrate enough to create offense for anyone else. For big guys, I think you need to just hope Hibbert can just shake out of whatever funk he is in. But who knows, maybe Indy pulls out the next two games and all this talk is premature.
 
nvm, sterling is banned from life. Should be interesting to see if Magic buys the team or not

LOL, are you trolling me and CyArob? It's possible they come back and win games 6 and 7, but extremely unlikely. It really pisses me off how they're collapsing; a Pacers/Heat rematch was the playoff series I was most excited for. No matter how bad a slump Indy was in, MIA brought out the best in them. Like a good boxing rivalry, their contrasting styles made a fight.
 
I was watching the comcast feed of the Bulls game with the Bulls announcers and I had to change, I just felt sorry for those guys. They kept trying to talk themselves into the Bulls coming back and making it a series. They just aren't good enough, Thibs is a great regular season coach in that he gets them all to play as hard as they can every night but when they get to the playoffs, they just aren't talented enough.
