Just getting into it. I don't know what Fred did, but Royce can't say enough good about him.
Is there any way the Bulls bring him in for Summer League?

It'd be interesting to hear some unfiltered thoughts from Fred on adding ISU players that would be end of the bench guys. Sounds great to us but I'd think an unaffiliated Bulls fan would feel differently. It'd be a high pressure situation.

I tried to listen at work, but as soon as RW dropped "existential journey" in the first twenty seconds of the interview I stopped. I want to hear the whole thing and I will, but I get the feeling that it's going to need my undivided attention.

Yeah, and Chicago Bulls fans don't exactly have the greatest feelings towards Iowa State. I think Fred realizes the negatives outweigh the positives or he would have already extended an invite.

Yah I'm gonna find time to listen again.
I zoned out for a minute and all of a sudden he was talking about parents getting drunk in front of their kids at sporting events.

Yep, that's what I was worried about. Some podcasts you can kind of drift in and out and not miss much. I don't think this is one of those.

Oh Royce, he is making mountains out of mole hills. I just don't think we would agree on much of anything.

When people say you are too smart for your own good they are talking about this idea. It is hard to stay focused on the topic that you are hired to do. I've done some of the same things and tend to do things the hardest way possible.

The biggest problem is that he sees himself as a victim and that is antithetical to success.

Man that alcohol discussion... Really Royce, you would like to dictate how many beers one can consume? How many one could consume with your children around? I think my diagnosis is that his mental health problems can be boiled down to his socialist brainwashing. Royce, if you happen to read this you are not a victim but a result of the choices made in your life. Take some responsibility. I'm out.

I don't think his mission is about success.
