Not saying you cant wear them, they are a quality product and made in the USA. But keep in mind, so are crocs.

One of the main reasons I wear sunglasses is for athletic activities (golf, running, slowpitch, etc.) and when my job is basically the same thing (shooting a state tournament). I'm not wearing the "lifestyle" shades (I was never a fan of them, anyway).
 
I'll keep wearing mine because they're comfy and more importantly, I'm not some 17 year old high school girl worried about what everyone thinks of my fashion choices.

Where are you that people are wearing jean shorts?

I don't hear people making fun of others for wearing Oakleys. I would have to question how you would know if Crocs are a quality product or not. They're not made in the USA either. Having sold Oakleys in the past I generally pay attention to what sunglasses people are wearing. I see a ton of them out there.

I like the fact that I don't know they are there. I have two pairs, both are used for work and usually golf. I don't want to know they are there. I have tried other brands and they aren't as good in that respect.
 
I honestly can't figure out why people are arguing whether or not things are in style or not.. Who cares? If it makes you happy, wear it. Is this CF or Cosmo Girl??

You wear sunglasses while shooting highlights? I always thought that was annoying.

Photos, not video. I really don't have any issue with the actual shooting, but I do have to look over the shades if I'm looking at the photos I've already taken on the camera screen so that I can accurately assess the exposure (heh, heheh, heh).

I definitely can't wear my normal glasses while shooting, though. THAT is annoying as **** to attempt.
