All I can think is Mac leads the team out?
There were photos when they hauled the old field out, the end zone dirt was multi colored. I really don't know the paint specifics though.Help me out here. I'm trying to figure out what letter this is I, U? and part of what word? It looks like the endzone.
Second ?, what type of paint do they use? I would imagine some kind of biodegradable paint that they can wash off easily, doesnt hurt the grass too much?
That would be absolutely insaneAll I can think is Mac leads the team out?
He's in Iowa City for Raisin Fest....I mean Fry Fest or whatever it's called. That would be absolutely insane

Not sure about that, but I know the letter now (upside down "T").There were photos when they hauled the old field out, the end zone dirt was multi colored. I really don't know the paint specifics though.
It would be cool to have someone from CF interview the grounds crew. @ChrisMWilliams
After reading up on it some, last year, I can totally understand why natural grass fields such as for the Packers, Steelers, Notre Dame, for 3 examples, use just very simple diagonal chalk lines in their endzone "paint" jobs. That is much safer and healthier for the grass. For sure. There were photos when they hauled the old field out, the end zone dirt was multi colored. I really don't know the paint specifics though.

Rock you like a hurricane?
Have we had this type of thing before for football or am I too early?
Perhaps I'm being a bit impatient but go ahead and merge/delete if there's a thread tomorrow.
Predictions? Things to look for? Info on North Dakota? Other things to be excited about?
Prediction: I'm guessing like a 20-6 slow roll type of win.
Things to look for: Looking at the trenches on both sides of the ball more than anywhere else. Is there potential there or are we looking at another work in progress type of deal?
I would like to see if someone like Carson Hansen finds more time on the field somehow. Seemed like the type of guy you need out there somewhere.
Excited for: the opening game being on FS1. ESPN+ hasn't worked for me on any device over the last several years for the Labor Day weekend game.
Also just excited for a full slate of college football games on Saturday.
