Hey Eric Stratton, Rush Chair, damn glad to meet you
Now just because of this thread, if Nick ends up here, his nickname must be Flounder.

Nick Babb, brother of Chris Babb, is shot making sg w some handle. Likes Arkansas & will visit soon. Has offer from Texas Tech & Tulsa #uaa

It's becoming tough to overlook him. If he has top 150 talent and anywhere near the tenacity that Chris does, you'd have to want him on your team.
Agreed, I just wish he was in either last years class or 2015 when there are more open scholarships. Then again, he may have no desire to follow his brothers footsteps so maybe that's why fred isn't persuing him.
Just read a Rivals article where Nick quoted something to the effect ... "my brother told me not to go far away because none of my family could come watch me" . Perhaps, that is why all of his interest list is anywhere south of Tulsa. Not saying Chris doesn't want him to go to ISU, but perhaps he realizes how great it would have been to play closer to his family. Now, whether we have held back an offer to Nick knowing this, I have no clue. Just thought it was interesting quote.
That could be, but Chris will retweet Iowa State stuff when it comes to Nick. And Chris's parents made it to a lot of games. Probably most of the away games in conference.
It'll be interesting to see if we watch Nick in the July period.
If he were to go away from Texas but still wanted to play in front of friends and family, the Big 12 would be the best option since he'd have at 4 away games against opponents each year that would be fairly close to home.Yes, it will. Just find it interesting that he has no offers from the northern half of anywhere in the USA, I don't think. And if we do end up offering, let's hope its not because we couldn't reel in any of our needed PF,SF -type recruits. Of course we do have Hogue another year and Nader to help that. Still not giving up on Abu, Johnson, or ...?
