Not having anybody drafted this year was depressing---who on our roster this year has the talent to be drafted in the next couple years. Leonard Johnson is a given. What would guys like Arnaud, Franklin, etc. have to work on for them to be drafted???

I think Arnaud and Franklin will be drafted if they continue to improve and not level off or regress. A-Rob probably has NFL potential, especially if he starts catching a lot of balls. He could be a solid 3rd down type guy. Sed Johnson seems to have the stuff on paper, we'll see where he ends up.
For the offense I think Arnaud, Franklin, S. Johnson, Darks, Lamaak & KO all have a shot. All 3 of our RB's seem to have the physical ability to be drafted. It just depends on how they continue to progress.
As for the defense...LJ is the only lock. I think both Kenard Banks & Allen Bell have the physical ability to play at the next level. The rest of our defense falls in the TBD range. :smile:

Wow, it's been a long off season for me. The first Franklin that I thought of was Wallace Franklin and I was wondering the heck you were talking about.

Wow. I thought Iowa just stole the Pittsburgh Steelers uniforms not their talent.
Every time an Iowa fans rips us for ripping off USC, I wonder how they can ignore the fact that their unis are a dead ringer for the Steelers. HYPOCRITES.
Arnaud definitely has the potential. If he can grasp the new offense quickly and flourish in it, he'll have a good shot. SJ in theory, there's a long ways to go for him though. On D, LJ potentially if he continues to improve his coverage skills. Nobody jumps out yet where its obvious.
I think the only ISU unis that are that bad as far as ripping off USC are the road unis w/the gold pants. The unis we wore in Iowa City were fine.
Also, didn't realize Hayden asked the Steelers. Was this before or after the "wing" uniforms from the mid 90's? If I understand correctly, Iowa's current uniforms are the same ones they wore prior to the wings.

That's fine that you're a fan of urban legends but what's that got to do with Hayden asking Rooney if he can use their uniform scheme? Because that's 100% accurate.

I could make Wikipedia say that Iowa won the Rose Bowl last year, but that doesn't make it true either.
