NFL playoffs

Four big games this weekend...what are you predictions as of today?

Jacksonville: 24
Kansas City: 35

New York: 27
Philadelphia: 24

Cincinnati: 31
Buffalo: 30

Dallas: 20
San Francisco: 23

You spelled "Giants" wrong.

Don't get to play against that Vikings defense every week. Vanilla Vick will come back down to his normal mediocre self. Then it'll be an off-season of people with unintelligent sounding accents talking about whether they should resign him.

Worried about my Eagles. They’re a great all-around team, but they have some flaws and not only do they have to get past a feisty NY, then they have what I consider 2 of the worst matchups for them in SF or Dallas.

San Fran is going to have all they can take with Dallas, unfortunately. I despite Dallas only behind Iowa and Kansas, but they have a ton of talent. The only limiting factor for them is their bipolar nature and 30-year playoff drought. If on, they can beat anybody.

I think KC advances but Buffalo has a tricky tough matchup as well.

So, they always suck or choke but they can beat anybody?

This is the first game I have ever watched that had five touchdowns and no extra points.
I've been to one! The 1989 Oklahoma @ Iowa State football game. That was the game Jeff Shudak was suspended for mouthing off to a coach during the week. The Cyclones back-up walk-on kicker missed his first extra point badly, so ISU went for two the rest of the game. ISU scored 6 Tds, missed one kick, made two 2-point conversions and missed three 2-point conversions and ended up with 40 points.

The Cyclones somehow managed to lose the game without punting once (they did score a TD off of a fake punt the one time they lined up in punt formation). Brett Oberg threw for 411 yards, Blaise Bryant ran for 151 years, the Cyclones doubled OU in yards 611 to 330 or so and doubled them on first downs 30 to 15. Still lost 40-43! Gotta say that was my first year at Iowa State, and it was a beautiful day and an exciting football game.

40,000 + in Cyclone Stadium for that one.

Huh?

At times I tune into Mad Dog on Sirius and it's going to be constant talk about whether to resign Jones. It's an NY equivalent to Finebaum on SEC where sometimes it's such a trainwreck that it is entertaining.

I was at that game. We went figuring we would leave after halftime depending on how bad the beat down was. Exciting and frustrating the whole time.
