NFL playoffs

Looks like we could get some light now in Buffalo during the game Sunday:

A mix in Kansas City:

Lot of people picking the Giants over the Eagles. I just don't see it. The Eagles defense is not going to make Daniel Jones look like an All-Pro QB like the Vikings did last week.

I think the Giants could make the game interesting for a while a la Seahawks/49ers, but the Giants receiving corp is not that good and Eagles have a damn good defense. Barkley won't be enough to win.

I assume because no one knows if Hurts can be at 95%+ or just 75%.

Am I crazy to think that both #1 seeds will lose this week? The Eagles with one of their best lineman banged up with a groin injury and Hurts's shoulder being a complete unknown gives NY a decent chance. Obviously ahirts was a big part of this but they peaked a while ago and have been in free fall for a few weeks.

As for KC, this is the sort of game that KC pisses down their leg frequently. Add in that Hardman is out and Edwards Helaire still not active, and Mahommes is missing some weapons. This isn't the Chiefs of old that were just spewing with speed all around the field. I think Jacksonville gives them a game.

But, I'm probably overanalyzing this as we wait for a fantastic weekend of NFL and we're going to end up with Philly and KC blowouts.

He hasn't had Hardman for over half the season and CEH for almost that long. The offense runs just fine without them.

That is a major blow to the Bengals. I want the Bengals to win, but I think without those two O-lime starters it’s looking like a Bills victory.
Maybe, Buffalo's kind of a middle of the road pass rushing team. Von Miller led the teams in sacks and has been out since week 13. They have a decent amount of picks on the season, but Mac Jones and Matt Stafford account for 6 of the 17 they had in just two games. 4 more of their games were 2 INT games, so in their other 10 they had just 3 INTs.

Josh Allen has been reverting to turnover machine lately, and that will bite them this week if the patchwork Cincy line can give Burrow time to throw.

I guess I need you to show your math where the Chiefs have pissed games like this down their leg at a frequent pace?

Rarely do they end up losing, but KC has often been accused of playing with their food. In reality, they are up two scores a lot against subpar competition who then score a late TD that makes the game look closer than it was. KC also isn't quite the homerun threat like the last couple of years, but their offense is actually more efficient than the last two years. To continue the baseball analogy, they hit lots of singles and doubles with the occasional triple, but do it at a high clip that still produces a lot of points.

The defense will never get confused for ones like SF, but they are second in sacks,12th in yards given up, and middle of the pack in PPG surrendered. Really though, that's all it takes is a defense that can get a few stops and let Mahomes go to work. The young secondary is probably their weakest link and that's mostly some ill timed penalties hurting them.

CEH missing does not matter at all. Hardman matters slightly but he’s been out for pretty much the whole last half of the season so no biggie there either. Not saying you may not be right, just downplaying those injuries.
