Maybe a little early for this topic, but the CFP ranking thread brought this to my mind. Would ESPN bring GameDay back for the CyHawk game next year? Pending how this season finishes, both teams will likely be ranked with Iowa State possibly being top 10 and Iowa not far behind. Hell, if both teams win out this year, it may be an early top 10 matchup. Would be a hard game to pass on.

No, it will be a week or two later in Norman with a clash of top 5s

I hope they would come for a bigger game, like Texas. I mean I'd never say no to them coming, the exposure is good, but why would we want them back for the cyhawk again? I don't think we'd want to be showcased with a program that had established racist tendencies.

Hell would freeze over if ISU is ranked top 10 to start the year. Doesn’t matter if they deserve it or not.

Is there a chance that any of our seniors will return for an additional year of eligibility? My understanding is that the NCAA isn’t counting this year towards the 5 years to play 4. Haven’t seen this discussed yet. Sure would be nice to get one or two of Bailey, Nwangwu, Eisworth for one more year.

There is a chance that 5-7 of the seniors come back.

The Iowa/ISU Game Day really wasn't that bad...it showed the rivalry and showed how dedicated Iowans are to put on a hell of a tailgate.

If ISU continues to be in the top 20ish they'll have more CGD appearances.

I think we can safely consider these players seniors in their final year. I think all, especially Kene and Dylan Soehner, will sign an NFL free agent contract (Soehner may get drafted).

Agreed. Gotta think that Eisworth and Bailey have a shot to get drafted as well. I’m not expecting to get any of these guys back, but would be elated to have even one of them return.

I like where ISU sits for next year. UNI and at UNLV should be wins. I believe we still get Iowa at home and we should be favored. Time to finally beat them.

We have five conference road games next year, but I like our schedule. Home games against Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Kansas. When you add Iowa and UNI to that, it's a really nice home slate and with our success this year we'll sell a lot of tickets. Most of our toughest games are at home.

The road conference games are Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas State, Texas Tech, and Baylor. Our success against Tech, K-State, and West Virginia this year makes me fairly confident about those games next year. Oklahoma will be tough in Norman obviously and Baylor will be tricky.

This year isn't over but I'm definitely excited about next year.

I know in Minnesota hell is still a bit toasty.... The Vikings have not won a superbowl.

I was wondering this too, if seniors stay, ISU will be beastly next year.
