Next Sellout?

When do you think the next sellout will be? After the UT debacle (which seems to happen every time ISU has a big game on TV) I don't think the fringe fans will be coming back this year. The 40k or so faithful will always be there but we need the 10-15k fringe and bandwagon fans to sellout JTS. My guess is possilby the TAM game if we win one of the next two and have good weather - if we lose the next two then there will not be another sellout this year. The OSU game being a night game in Nov will keep people away - no matter how big the game is.

The Texas A&M game is homecoming, expect 50,000 or more. The KU game will not be televised so expect around 45,000-47,000. The OSU game could be a huge turnout (sellout) or a 45,000 turnout, depending record wise. But its on a Friday night at 8 pm there will be a good turn out.

I hope your right, but I really think our attendance will take a huge hit. I think we might have lost the fair weather fans for the year, or at least for a couple games, and then it will be too cold for them:eek:
 
Depends on the next two weeks. Come back strong and get back to back road wins, and the house is packed for A&M. Split, and it's probably around 50K. Lose both? 45K, and it just gets worse from there.

This is probably about right - Homecoming will get that because it is homecoming. We may get decent attendance but KU will not bring any fans so that will hurt the numbers. OSU I would be pleased to get that many.

It depends on how ISU plays the next two weeks. If ISU wins at BU and Mizzou and plays well in both, I could see A&M possibly being sold out still.

Next year, unless ISU wins the next 2 games. If ISU goes 2-0 next 2 weeks, then id say the A&M game will be. If not, it wont be. Not saying what i want, just my prediction.
 
This depends on two things:

1) are you talking butts in the seats, or tickets sold?

2) and what the weather will be like

I think there is a good chance A&M will sellout, or at least come very close, if it is nice weather.
 
I think if we can win one of the next two games, we can have an atmosphere like we had at the UT game. Even LHN employee SS has something good to say about that.

I was going butts in seats number. We are going to get dominated at Baylor, sorry but that is going to happen. Winning at MU is not going to happen either, hopefully not a blowout.

If both of those games are blowouts, ISU fans will be gone. That is just the way it is and has always been historically. TAM will still bring a good crowd since it is homecoming but not a great crowd. They will probably also dominate us. After that we are really done. No one is coming for a horrid Kansas team. Then the final game... Friday night..... 8 PM...... Another butt whopping looming..... Middle of November......

How many actually showed up for that Missouri game last year???
