Thought so too, but to be honest I like our road uniforms better.
2014 - West Virginia (home)
2015 - Kansas State (visitor)
2016 - TCU (home)
2017 - Iowa State (visitor)
TCU wore white last year. Now maybe they were the designated "home" team but still decided to go with the white uniforms:
K-State wore their home uniforms in 2015:
West Virgina wore home as well in 2014:
Yep. WVU was the home team and wore gold. KSU was the road team and wore purple. TCU was the home team and wore white.
So is it going to be all-white? I was hoping for white-white-cardinal. (or the now little-seen CWC)
Hoping all white, but guessing there will be some cardinal in there somewhere.

Would have been nice to get an SEC team.
I’d rather play a ranked team than a 6-6 SEC team
Or Boston College in an open baseball stadium in December in New York City*.

ISU definitely is the home team this year. Must just be electing to go with the all-white's, or agreed to let Memphis wear their all-blue's.
I assume we see an all-white ISU uni and an all-blue Memphis uni.

Both teams want to dress for their environment. Memphis as the de facto home team, Iowa State as the road warriors. It's keeping the routine the same for psychology's sake.
Based on ISU getting the "home" side of the field, and the home locker rooms.
The Liberty Bowl is treating this just as if Memphis was just another school in the bowl game.
Yes, I would eat my shoe if they did not have the bowl logo embroidered or a heat transfer put on their sideline gear. They will not be wearing the monstrosities on their gear that the players have on their uniforms.
