TCU wore white last year. Now maybe they were the designated "home" team but still decided to go with the white uniforms:

Yep. WVU was the home team and wore gold. KSU was the road team and wore purple. TCU was the home team and wore white.

ISU definitely is the home team this year. Must just be electing to go with the all-white's, or agreed to let Memphis wear their all-blue's.

Both teams want to dress for their environment. Memphis as the de facto home team, Iowa State as the road warriors. It's keeping the routine the same for psychology's sake.

The Liberty Bowl is treating this just as if Memphis was just another school in the bowl game.

Yes, I would eat my shoe if they did not have the bowl logo embroidered or a heat transfer put on their sideline gear. They will not be wearing the monstrosities on their gear that the players have on their uniforms.
